Traveling to Palawan in the New Normal: A Guide

Heading to the beautiful island of Palawan? Here are the step-by-step guidelines that you should follow for a safe and stress-free trip:

1. Get tested.

The local government unit of Puerto Princesa requires a negative saliva-based or nasopharyngeal swab RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours from date of extraction to the date of travel. It must be taken only in accredited laboratories. Make sure to have the accredited testing facility email your test result to the city’s Internal Management Team (IMT) at imtppccovidresult@gmail.com.

2. Book your plane tickets.

Once you receive your negative RT-PCR test, it is time to book your flight. Make sure your flight schedule is within 48 hours from the time you took your test to the time you reach Puerto Princesa Airport (PPS).

3. Make a hotel reservation.

You may book your suite in Astoria Palawan through this website. Just add your check-in details in the header above and click “Book now.” You may also send our Sales Team a message via +63 998-9613-419, +63 998-9613-422, or rsvn@astoriapalawan.com.

4. Apply for an S-Pass.

Visit the S-Pass website at www.s-pass.ph for the full details.

5. Wait for your health declaration card with tourist QR code.

If there is no issue encountered, you should receive your HDC (Health Declaration Form) with Palawan Tourist QR Code within an hour from the time you registered. Have a printed and digital copy with you at all times.

6. Apply for a contact-tracing QR code (QT-ID).
